Pictured below: Capt. Mike Oshiro led angler Darren Hayashi to the Largest Marlin of Day One of the Firecracker Open in Kona, Hawaii. David Magallanes was, and shall always be Mike’s right hand fishin’ patnah. With Uncle Kimo on the assist, Darren’s marlin went 533 pounds to best the 470.5 pounder caught previously on “End of the Line.” $101,350.00 Winner: KRISTA-O
